Betty Skinner is a registered music teacher in Lloydminster, Canada's only Border City, spanning across the Alberta and Saskatchewan border on the Yellowhead highway.

Betty obtained her Associateship of the Royal Conservatory of Music in 1992 with Honors. She was also a 'Music For Young ChildrenTM' teacher from 1987 to 2007. In 1983 she obtained her 'Early Childhood Development Certificate' with Honors from Lakeland College.
